When Hades noticed Persephone, it was love at first sight
He then decided to abduct her red-handedly, despite
this act being done against her free will
Hades just wanted to feel the thrill.
No matter how hard he tried, he could not let Persephone go,
his affection for her day by day could only grow
regardless of how unhappy, how broken she was
he was unable to see past his defects, past his flaws
However, the delicacy of shattering
is that when you rebuild, becoming
stronger than you were ever before,
you realize you were always so brilliant and more
Yet with time, she began to enjoy it there
she came to love this new affair
despite how much she adored her past
Hades was there for her, at least
Some people may call this Stockholm syndrome
but what Persephone felt in Hades was home
So, when you see winter coming, approaching,
just know that their love is still growing.
