Doggo
Small and scared were you once
Barely weighing more than an ounce,
And most likely you would have perished
If you had not been so cherished.
As time passed, you grew
And you ran around with no clue,
That you were loved more
Than any other before.
When I was down
You would help me not drown,
And without even knowing
You have kept me going.
Now that time has passed
I must contest,
That you are a friend
With who my time I gladly would spend.
