When we started school,
We had fears,
The new classmates,
The new teachers,
The new space.
I’m in the 5th grade,
I also feared,
But I should not have had to,
because it’s better when you are smaller.
I like to think back,
To the old days,
When I had been to kindergarten,
And played with toys.
The time is running out,
And we are getting old too.
